Dianne Kay (Shuster) Bell

Dianne Kay Bell, 61 of Mattawan, passed away at home on February 21, 2023. Dianne was born to Carl Frederick Shuster and Carol Jean (VanAuken) Shuster on December 6, 1961, in Kalamazoo, MI.

Dianne spent her career as an accountant for several businesses ranging from non-profits to a beach resort in Florida. She loved gardening and her many animals including dogs and horses. She enjoyed the many years she lived in Florida; she had many friends there and loved the beach. Dianne was, above all, selfless to those she loved and would give her all to anyone in need. Her friends and family always came first, and she took every opportunity to spend time with them.

Dianne is survived by her mom Carol Shuster; son Robert (Casey) Bell and daughter Sharon Bell, her adorable granddaughter Fae Bell, siblings Ron (Michelle) Shuster, Carolyn (Steve) Reynolds, and Ken Shuster; and several nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by her father and her partner Jay Daspit.

Services for Dianne will be held on Monday, March 6 at Langeland Family Funeral Homes Burial and Cremation Center 3926 S. 9th St, Kalamazoo, MI 49009. A memorial gathering will be held from 11:00 am to 12:00 pm and a memorial service will begin at 12:00 pm. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in Dianne’s honor to Save our Seabirds and Mote Marine Laboratory & Aquarium, both in Sarasota, Florida.
