Of Kalamazoo Debbie passed away Thursday evening, June 23, 2011 at Borgess Medical Center. She was born July 8, 1952 in Kalamazoo, the daughter of the late Grover and Violet McLemore Chrisman. Surviving are her two daughters, Kathy James Dyke Brown and Kristin Travis Geer Brown; eight grandchildren; sister, Betty Sutton; niece, Kimberly Wetlaufer; nephew, Robert Sutton; and close friend, Kathy Walker. Preceding her in death were her parents; two grandsons; and longtime companion, John Nelson. Honoring Debbie's wishes, cremation has taken place and there will be no services or visitation. Arrangements by Langeland Family Funeral Homes, Memorial Chapel, 622 S. Burdick St.
