David Lynn Drzick, Sr.

David Lynn Drzick, age 76, passed away on October 3, 2023, at his home after a brief illness.

David was born on July 3, 1946, to the late Joseph Steven and Genevieve Marcelus (Berton) Drzick. He attended Kalamazoo Central High School.

He worked for Park Place Assisted Living in maintenance, retiring after 15 years. David enjoyed fishing, hunting, traveling, and working on anything. But his true love was the casino.

David is survived by his wife, Patsy Ann (Blackport) Drzick; son, David Lynn Drzick, Jr; step-son, Bruce (Stacy) Ament; daughter, Tammy Mallory; granddaughters, Lin and Ruby Drzick; and grandson, Aden Ament.

David is also survived by his siblings, Monte Steven Drzick, Barbara Jean Shireman, and Beverly Ann Taft, as well as several nieces, nephews, and cousins.

David was preceded in death by his parents, and sister, Karen Lee Blackport.

A memorial service will be held on November 4, 2023, at 1:00 PM at the New Apostolic Church, 3600 West Milham Street, Portage, Michigan with Evangelist Peter Cook officiating. Friends may gather from 11:00 AM until the time of service.
