Daniel Lee Rushmore

Daniel Lee Rushmore, age 70, of Kalamazoo passed away October 15, 2022 at his home. He was born September 27, 1952 in Kalamazoo to the late Leon Meek and Norma Rushmore.

He attended high school and finished at Portage Northern. Shortly after, he joined the military and completed his service. He enjoyed rebuilding motorcycles in the living area, to riding with friends, to bike blessings—he was in several motorcycle clubs.

Dan was preceded in death by his parents and brother, Scotty.

He is survived by his loving wife, Sheri Rushmore; children Christina, James, and Mandy (Nick); grandchildren, Jayanna, Brianna, Dakota, Antwain, Timon, Jeymeir, and Mason; siblings, Carole, Cathy, Debbie, Billie, Paul, Sandy, Diane, David, Meryl, Tim, and Tom; as well as several nieces and nephews.

A committal service with military honors will take place Friday, November 4 at 10:30am at Ft. Custer National Cemetery, 15501 Dickman Rd, Augusta, MI 49012. Those wishing to attend should gather in the funeral assembly area by 10:15am.
