Daniel J. Nielsen

Daniel Jay Nielsen, age 74, of Grand Rapids passed away Monday, June 17, 2024. He was preceded in death by his parents Frederick and Laura Nielsen, brother Jack Nielsen, sister Sue Ford, brother Michael Nielsen. Daniel is survived by his daughters, Melysa (Tommy) Bianculli and Kasondra Hutson; five grandchildren, Samuel Nielsen, Brittiny Nielsen, Ellasondra (AJ) Nielsen, Olyvia Bianculli and Mason Bianculli; his brother Robert (Sally) Nielsen, sister Karen (Don) Abson, brother-in-law Rodney Ford; many nieces and nephews. Daniel proudly served in the US Army during the Vietnam War.

Daniel’s ashes will be laid to rest in Fort Custer Cemetery located at 15501 Dickman Rd, Augusta, MI 49012 on Monday, July 8, 2024 at 1:00 pm. There will be a get together with the family at 5:00 pm at Timberlane Estates located at 260 Pin Oak Dr, Coopersville, MI 49404.
