Daniel Lee Bell

Daniel Lee Bell of Kalamazoo, Michigan, passed away on Thursday, November 16, 2023, at the age of 73. He was born in Grand Rapids, Michigan, on August 28, 1950, to the late Harold and Elsie (Byle) Bell. Dan married Suzanne “Suzi” Klomparens in 1984. They were married for 39 years.

Dan graduated from Forest Hills High School and received an associate degree from Davenport College. He worked for Prudential Fase Realty. He loved golfing, gardening, canning and woodworking.

Dan is survived by his loving wife, Suzi; son, Joel (Rebecca) Bell, and their children, Abigail (20), Iris (18), Noah (16), Alden (14), and Eli (12); daughter, Kristin Bell; his uncle, Ron (Rosie), and their children; and a “cousin” Martha Banks.

Preceding Daniel in death were his parents; sister, Donna; and first wife, Trudy.

A memorial service will be held on Tuesday, November 21, 2023, at Haven Church, 5350 N Sprinkle Rd, Kalamazoo, MI 49004. Visitation will be at 10:00 a.m., Service at 11:00 a.m., and luncheon at 12:00 p.m.
