Claudia Estelle (Henderson) Hearn

February 26, 1931 — November 2, 2023

Kalamazoo

In loving memory of Claudia Estelle (Henderson) Hearn, affectionately known as "Grammy" or Grandma, passed away Thursday November 2, 2023. She was born in St. Louis, Missouri on February 26, 1931.

Claudia was affectionately cared for by her son Prentis Apollo Hearn. For many years her son, Kevin Hearn, also looked upon her needs and provided support. Claudia was preceded in death by her daughters: Yvonne Lindsey—a loving mother, aunt, and daughter; as well as her daughter, Sherry Hearn—an example of a daughter with so much heart; finally, her son, David Hearn. All of them have been dearly missed.

Claudia will be missed by her daughter-in-law, Margaret Hearn; grandchildren, Lacresha, Lauri, Erika, Jonathan, Prentis Albert Hearn Jr., Dana, and Melody Lindsey; great-grandchildren, Abigail Mei Hearn, and Adaline Jing Hearn; as well as her family from Chicago and St. Louis.

Claudia was a faithful servant of her God, Jehovah, for over 75 years. She kindly shared her faith as one of Jehovah's witnesses for many, many years. She will be missed by all those who knew her.

There will be a private memorial service for the immediate family. Please send cards and/or flowers to Langeland Family Funeral Homes, 622 S Burdick St, Kalamazoo, MI 49007. Special thanks to the Langland Funeral home, for their loving care of our dear mother and grandmother. Special thanks also to the Douglass Community Association for their support.

We loved you so much and will see you again.
