Clark Martin Olmsted

Clark Martin Olmsted of Portage, Michigan passed away on December 11, 2023, at the age of 69. Clark was born in Kalamazoo, Michigan, on May 1, 1954, to the late Clark and Elizabeth (Downs) Olmsted. In 1976, Clark married Dorothy Scott whom he would spend his life with until his passing. 

Clark dedicated over 30 years of his life working in IT and repairing office equipment until eventually retiring. He spent his twilight years tinkering with his many gadgets and loved watching his grandkids spend time at the pool, while his wife watched her favorite team, the Tigers.

Clark is survived by his beloved wife, Dorothy; his children, Jennifer (Tim) Robinson, Heather (Joe) Pasterik, and Clark Olmsted; and 5 grandchildren, Grace, Henry, Emily, Hailee, and Abigail. 

Clark was preceded in death by his parents; and siblings, Mark, Julie, Gail, Sue, and David. 

Per his wishes, cremation has taken place and a private celebration of life event will be held at a later date. Memorial contributions may be made in Clark’s honor to West Michigan Cancer Center (WMCC.org).
