Christine V. Bradley, 85 of Portage, passed away peacefully at home on April 25, 2023. She was born on August 19, 1937, to Thomas and Stella (Phillips) Hand in Moulton, Alabama.
Christine worked for PEI plastics and retired in 2003. She enjoyed retirement and the time it gave her to spend with family.
Christine loved her Detroit Tigers and looked forward to rooting for them each season. She also was a big fan of WWE wrestling, especially John Cena. She wouldn’t miss a live WWE match whenever they performed at the Wings Event Center. She enjoyed reading Danielle Steel romance novels and had unwavering faith to her Lord and Savior Jesus Christ. Above all, she loved her family the most. Her children and grandchildren meant the world to her, and she cherished all the memories they made.
Christine is survived by her sons Andy Bradley and Billy (Janet) Colburn; grandchildren Torie Ketchem, Billy Colburn Jr., David Larson, and Michael Garnaat; sister Lucy Randolph and her husband Rayburn; son-in-law David Garnaat, and several great-grandchildren. She was greeted in heaven by her parents, daughter Joyce Garnaat, and siblings Betty Stoker, Barbara Kilgo, Shelby Griffith, Opal Nolan, Moses Hand, and Jack Hand.
Per Christine’s wishes, the family will gather for a private graveside service at Portage South Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made in honor of Christine to the Alzheimer’s Association. Please visit Christine’s personalized webpage at https://www.Langelands.com
