Brian David Dunning

Brian David Dunning, formerly Brian David Thomas, born November 27, 1963, went to be with God on March 23, 2023, surrounded by family and close friends.  Brian was born on November 27, 1963, in Lansing, Michigan.  Brian graduated from Loy Norrix High School in Kalamazoo, Michigan in 1988.   Brian was preceded in death by his father David Bruce Thomas of Grand Ledge, Michigan, and his uncle Richard Thomas of Pennsylvania.  He is survived by his younger sister LuAnn, brother-in-law (Greg) both of North Carolina, his younger brother, Jon Thomas, and Sister-in-Law (Lynn) of North Carolina, and his mother Jean E. Dukes of Lansing.  He also has many surviving aunts, uncles, and cousins. Brian was a long-time resident of Kalamazoo, Michigan, living at the Chelten House with loving staff and friends that became family to him.  Brian lived life to its fullest, bringing joy to those around him.  Brian will be missed by all those that came to know him.  Donations can be made in his name directly to the Chelten House, to make improvements to the group home.  A private graveside service will be held for close friends.
