Bradley Alexander

Bradley Paul Alexander, age 67 of Kalamazoo, died on December 28, 2023. He was born on July 24, 1956, in Adrian, Michigan, the son of Floyd E. and Marilyn J. (Schmidt) Alexander. The family moved to Pennsylvania and Bradley graduated from Dieruff High School in Allentown, PA, in 1974. The family returned to Michigan in 1976. He was a baker at the South Westnedge Harding’s Market, retiring in 2020. Bradley enjoyed bowling and over the years spent most of his games competing at Harpo Lanes. He also enjoyed attending races at the area racetracks.

In 1984, he met Jamie Gary and they were married and blended their families on February 14, 1990. Along with his wife Jamie Alexander, his family includes his daughter, Tanya (Dwayne) Steigerwalt; his step-sons: Chad Sawyer and Bryan Sawyer (Crystal); his grandchildren: Angelique Steigerwalt, Austin (Taylor) Steigerwalt, Selena Adams, Ariana Sawyer, Taylee Sawyer, and Paisley Sawyer; his great-grandchildren: StellaRae, Madelyn, and Brody; his sisters: Jan (Rich) Mattern and Stacey Alexander; his parents-in-law, Jim Gary and Marlene Sanford; his siblings-in-law: Sally (Don) Jones, Jim Gary, Scott Gary, and Rob Sanford; and many extended family and friends. He was preceded in death by his parents and an infant brother, Mark Steven Alexander.

A memorial service will be held on Saturday, January 6th, 2024, at 1:00 PM at Augusta Fellowship United Methodist Church, 103 N. Webster Street, Augusta, MI 49012, with a gathering to follow in the fellowship room.
