Beverly June Dantone, age 101, passed away May 8, 2024. She was born June 2, 1922 in Kalamazoo to the late Clyde and Olive (Hill) Vose.

Beverly spent over 40 years working for Comstock Public Schools. She was an avid Detroit Tigers fan and loved going to their games. She enjoyed jigsaw puzzles and knitting—often knitting baby hats for area hospitals. She was a very sociable person with lots of friends. She loved playing cards with them and going to Niko’s in Comstock for breakfast with the bus drivers.

Beverly was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Peter J. Dantone; daughter, Patti Dantone; and sisters, Gail Bellisle and Loyal Vose.

She is survived by her daughter, Diane Bourdo; grandchildren, Kim Haight and Jeff (Amy) Haight; six great-grandchildren; two great-great-grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews.

A funeral service will be held Monday, May 13 at 1:00pm at Langeland Family Funeral Homes Burial and Cremation Services, 622 S Burdick St, Kalamazoo, MI 49007. A graveside committal will immediately follow at Mt. Ever-Rest Memorial Park South.
