Alexander T. Duncan

June 27, 1994 — August 27, 2023

Lawton, MI

Alexander Thomas Duncan died unexpectedly on Sunday, August 27, 2023. He was born June 27, 1994, in Holland MI, a son of Kevin T. and Julie A. (Crofoot) Duncan.

Alexander was a happy little boy, and he had the sweetest smile. You couldn’t help but love on and hug him. Even though he was soft spoken we all knew he loved us very much, especially when he gave us those long warm hugs. He had a very kind soul and would help anyone whenever they needed help. It is easy to say that Alexander brought great joy into our lives!

Alexander worked hard in school and even though he had to drop out in 11th grade, he did go back and get his GED, which he was very proud of. As an employee, he was a hard worker and his employers benefited greatly from having him on their team. He loved the outdoors; it was where he could ride on his aunt’s quad runner out on her back forty. He enjoyed hunting, fishing, and camping. He also enjoyed the thrill of amusement park rides.

In 2019 he became a daddy to a beautiful baby girl named Annmarie. She was his world, and everyone knew how much he loved her. He talked about her all the time, and he was so kind and gentle with her. He was such a wonderful daddy to her! He was also a great big bother to Mitchell. They were not only siblings but the best of friends and were always there for each other. He was also a loving son, grandson, nephew, cousin, and friend. We all will miss him so much.

Alexander was preceded in death by his maternal grandfather, Jack N. Crofoot. He is survived by a daughter, Annmarie Rose Duncan; mother, Julie Duncan; father, Kevin Duncan; brother, Mitchell Duncan; maternal grandmother, Beverly (Robert) Rose; paternal grandfather, Thomas (Angie) Duncan; and paternal grandmother, Jackie (Kenneth) Low.

Cremation has taken place and private services will be held. Arrangements entrusted to Langeland Family Funeral Homes Burial & Cremation Services, 622 S. Burdick St, Kalamazoo MI 49007. To view Alexander’s personalized web page, please visit https://www.langelands.com
