Died Friday morning December 29, 2017. Trynie was born September 14, 1933 in Schiermonnikoog, The Netherlands a daughter of Klaas and Ann (Visser) Boersma. She had been a Kalamazoo area resident since 1957 and was a member of Centerpoint Church. Trynie was preceded in death by her parents; a son-in-law, James Lewis in 2004; 4 brothers; and 2 sisters. On December 19, 1957, she was united in marriage to Herman Ebbers who survives. Also surviving, 2 children, Bert (Katie) Ebbers of Cheboygan, MI and Anita Lewis of Richland; 2 grandchildren, Anne (Adam Bibler) Ebbers and Dylan Ebbers; a sister, Tiny Hoogland; and several nieces and nephews. A memorial service will be held 1 o'clock Thursday at Centerpoint Church, 2345 North 10th St. Friends may meet the family one hour prior to the service at the church. Private burial will take place in East Cooper Cemetery. Memorials may be directed to Kairos Dwelling or Centerpoint Church Library Fund. Arrangements were made by the Langeland Family Funeral Homes, Memorial Chapel, 622 S. Burdick St.
