(nee Irwin) died at home in Portage, MI on August 3, 2018 due to complications from Alzheimer's disease. She was 83. Mrs. Karth was a resident of St Clair Shores for over 50 years and was active with the St. Clair Shores Senior Activities Center and a member of the Daughters of the American Revolution. She enjoyed reading, knitting, collecting antiques and travel. She is survived by her children, Marilyn (Robert), Karine, Susan (Robert), Robert (Lisa) and Janet (Arthur); 10 grandchildren and 7 great-grandchildren. Preceded in death by her husband Robert. A private graveside service at Fort Custer National Cemetery in Augusta, MI is planned. Memorial contributions may be given to the Alzheimer's Association-Greater Michigan Chapter, West Michigan Office, 2944 Fuller Ave. NE, Grand Rapids, MI 49505.
