Ronald passed on Friday, November 17, 2017 at his home in Schoolcraft, MI. He was born on May 3, 1947 in Kalamazoo, a son of Roy and Ruth (Clark) Peck. Ronald was a graduate of Portage Central High School class of 65. Ronald served in the U.S. Navy from September of 1966 until honorably discharged in May of 1972. Ron was a loving father who loved his family and friends. Ron worked as an equipment operator and served his community as a volunteer firefighter on the Schoolcraft Fire Department for over a decade. In his free time he enjoyed fishing, hunting, golfing and watching his westerns. He was a member of the Paw Paw Conservation Club and enjoyed recreational shooting. On June 3, 1995, he was married to Patricia A. Jenezon, who preceded him in death in March of this year, 2017. Surviving Ronald are his children, Angie (Nick) Cook, Ryan (Nichole Yax) Peck, Roni (Brad) White, Eric (Chris) Tobin and Amy (Andy) Brock; several grandchildren; siblings, Brenda Young and Randy Peck; nieces, nephews and friends. Honoring his wishes, cremation has taken place. Memorial services will be Monday, Nov. 27th from 6-8PM at Beginnings, 560 S. Grand Schoolcraft MI 49087. A graveside service will take place at Ft. Custer National Cemetery, Augusta, MI, on Tuesday, November 28th, 10:00am. Those wishing to attend should arrive in the funeral assembly area at Ft. Custer between 9:45-10:00am. Arrangements by Langeland Family Funeral Homes. Memorials may be directed to the VA Medical Center in Battle Creek.
