Tuesday morning, October 17, 2017, our Heavenly Father chose this beautiful morning to bring Maribeth into His tender keeping so she is able to worship in all of our Lord's glory. She was born December 1, 1950 in Kalamazoo the daughter of the late Leonard and Janet (Onderlinde) Klok. Maribeth was united in marriage to James Heersink, M.D. on June 8, 1972. He preceded her in death in September of 1996. Maribeth was a longtime member of Grace Christian Reformed Church. Surviving Maribeth are her children, Edward (Cari) Heersink and Anne (Dale) Darby; 3 grandchildren, Olivia, McKenna and Michael; siblings, Roger (Jan) Klok, Dan (Linda) Klok and Brad Klok; former sister-in-law, Cindy Moon; and several nieces and nephews. The family will greet friends on Friday, October 20th from 6-8 pm at Langeland Family Funeral Homes, Westside Chapel, 3926 S. 9th Street. A funeral service will be held Saturday, October 21st, 10:00 am at Grace Christian Reformed Church, 1724 Whites Rd., Kalamazoo with Pastor Greg Timmer officiating. A private burial will take place at Mt. Ever-Rest Memorial Park South. Memorials may be directed to Grace Christian Reformed Church or to The Luke Society, 3409 S. Gateway Blvd., #1000, Sioux Falls, SD 57106.
