Went to be with her Lord and Savior on Saturday evening March 24, 2018. Harriet was born June 25, 1920 in Detroit, Michigan, daughter of Anthony and Nell (Luyendyk) Tilma. She was a Kalamazoo area resident most of her life before moving to Grand Rapids in 2006. Harriet was employed MCS OB/GYN as a secretary for 17 years before retiring. She is a member of North Park Reformed Church in Kalamazoo, but attended Thorneapple Covenant Church in Grand Rapids. Harriet was preceded in death by her parents; and her husband, Albert E. Bos on April 5, 1982. She is survived by 3 children, Linda Kay (Roy) Galien of Ada, MI, Steven John Bos of Kalamazoo, and Mary Beth Bos of Carbondale, CO; 3 grandchildren, Amy (Mitchell) Hall, Melissa (Gary) Barnes, and Jason (Amy) Bos; 7 great-grandchildren, A.J. (Heather) Almy, Taylor Almy, Mackenzie and Sydney Hall, and Joseph, Katelyn, and Andrew Barnes; a great-great-grandchild, Landon Almy; a sister, Lois Laning of Plainwell; a sister-in-law, Eunice Weeldreyer of Richland; and several nephews. Private graveside services will be held in Mt. Ever-Rest Cemetery in Kalamazoo. A private memorial gathering will be held at the Porter Hills Meeting House, Grand Rapids, officiated by Rev. Melody Johnson. There will be no visitation. Memorials may be directed to the Porter Hills Foundation or Chapel Ministry.
