Formerly of Kalamazoo Grayce died on Sunday evening, April 10, 2011 at Ingham County Medical Care Facility in Okemos. She was born June 17, 1913 in Detroit. A devoted wife and mother, Grayce enjoyed cooking, quilting and singing soprano in the choir her husband directed at the First Baptist Church in Sparta. After moving to Kalamazoo, Grayce and her husband were active members of Second Reformed Church. Grayce was preceded in death by an infant daughter, Susan Lea Rohm in 1947; her beloved husband of 63 years, C. Dexter Rohm, Sr. in 1994; and her son, C. Dexter Rohm, Jr. in 1997. Surviving are her daughter, Judy Rohm of Mason; a granddaughter, Kim Tom Dammer of Galesburg; a grandson, Bill Amy Rohm of Brecksville, OH; four great-grandchildren, Emily and Ross Dammer of Galesburg; Anna and Ashley Rohm of Brecksville, OH; a nephew, Don Dee Stanger of Ft. Myers, FL; grandniece, Katie Bruce Gillet of Grand Rapids; and a daughter-in- law, Sandra Rohm-Floreani Ado of Richland. Memorial services for Grayce will be at 10:00 AM on Saturday, April 23, at Ingham County Medical Care Facility, 3860 Dobie Road, Okemos. Private interment will be in Oakwood Cemetery, Belmont. The family would like to thank the staff at Ingham County Medical Care Facility for the excellent care they provided Grayce during the last seven years. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made in Grayce's memory to ICMCF Foundation, 3860 Dobie Road, Okemos, MI 48864 or Second Reformed Church, 2323 Stadium Drive, Kalamazoo, MI 49008.
