IRVING, Andrew Jordan, ?A. J.? Kalamazoo Passed away to be with his Lord on Monday, August 13, 2007 at home. A. J. was born October 3, 1988 in Grand Rapids, MI, son of Mark and Lori Lee Burnside Irving and had been a resident of the Gull Lake area for several years. He was a member of Haven Church, attended Parchment High School and received his General Equivalency Diploma in July of 2007. He played football for Parchment and Gull Lake. A. J. liked doing building projects, but in his spare time he enjoyed hunting, golf, snow-mobiling and basically all other sports. A. J. is survived by his mother, Lori Irving of Kalamazoo; his father and step-mother, Mark Lisa Irving of Richland; a sister, Ami Irving of Richland; 2 step-sisters, Jamie Earl of Scottsdale, AZ and Lindsay Earl of Kalamazoo; grandparents, Gary Sandy Denton of Hastings and Roy Delores Burnside of Galesburg; a great grandmother, Mary A. Irving of Holland; 5 aunts, Kim Pat Wallich of Tecumseh, MI, Kris Joe Kruizenga of Kalamazoo, Karyn Nick Downes of Newport, RI, Ashley Mouneer Ahmad of Chicago and Cheri Burnside of TX; 2 uncles, Garth Burnside of Ann Arbor and Jeff Soumi Irving of NY; many nieces and nephews. A. J. was preceded in death by his grandfather, Richard ?Dick? Irving. Funeral services will be conducted at 1:00 PM Friday at Haven Church, 5350 N. Sprinkle Road, with Rev. Roy Ackermann, officiating. The family will receive friends on Thursday from 2-4 and 6-8 PM at the Langeland Family Funeral Homes, Memorial Chapel, 622 S. Burdick St., Kalamazoo. Memorial contributions may be directed to A. J. s? family.
