Passed away, due to unexpected medical complications, on Monday, May 22, 2017 at the age of 46. Adam was born in Chicago, IL on February 19, 1971. He was employed as a Heavy Equipment Operator for Caporossi Construction. He was an avid outdoorsman, who enjoyed hunting and fishing, but most of all he loved spending time with his family. He is survived by his former wife, Dana Cooley; children, RuthAnn Riemer, Amanda (Desmond Gardner) Riemer, Emily Munson and Brian J. Cooley; two grandchildren, Kelix Cooley and Amelia Smith; mother, Ruth Riemer; father, John W. Riemer; two brothers and one sister, John G. Riemer, Grace Riemer and Noah Riemer; and his sweetheart, Mary Roundhouse. He was preceded in death by a granddaughter, Jayden Cooley. Friends may visit with the family from 5-8 p.m. on Friday, May 26th at the Langeland Family Funeral Homes, Memorial Chapel, 622 S. Burdick St., Kalamazoo, MI 49007, where a time of sharing will take place at 7 p.m. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be given to the family.
