Victor Vincent Valentine, III

August 4, 1970 ~ January 5, 2019 (age 48)
Victor Vincent Valentine III, 48, passed away January 5, 2019. He was born August 4, 1970, in Kalamazoo, to Sharon (Centilla) Valentine and the late Victor Vincent Valentine, Jr.

Victor was a loving son, loyal brother, and fun uncle. He was loved by many. Victor grew up in Portage, Michigan and recently moved to St. Louis, Missouri to help with the care of his mother Sharon. He courageously overcame challenging life struggles and through this reestablished his strong faith in God. Anyone that remembers Victor describes him as kind, generous, and playful with a heart of gold. Victor will be remembered for his lasting friendships and always found time to reach out to an old friend. Once a friend always a friend.

Victor was a big fan of sports, he loved all Detroit teams. He was especially loyal to the Detroit Red Wings, Detroit Lions, and University of Michigan. Upon his recent move to St. Louis he quickly became a faithful fan at all of his nephew Cooper's hockey and basketball games.
Victor loved golf, reading both history and mythology, and online gaming. Victor's niece and nephews adored him and he always surprised them with a toy or candy.

Victor's trip to Disney World with his sister Shannon and her family was a highlight of his adult life. He enjoyed every minute and was big kid at heart. All of Victor's family cherishes the most recent Valentine family reunion in Bark River, Michigan where Victor came prepared to entertain with fireworks. Russell and Andrew will forever remember their boy's trip to Puerto Vallarta.

He was preceded in death by his grandparents, Roberta and Gerald Centilla, Victor and Emma Doris Valentine, and his father, Victor Vincent Valentine, Jr.

He leaves behind his mother, Sharon Valentine; siblings, Shannon (Edward) Campbell, Andrew (Jennifer) Valentine, Russell Valentine, Jet Valentine, Chase Valentine, and Jackson Valentine; niece, Harper Valentine; nephews, Grant Valentine and Cooper Campbell; as well as many lifelong friends.

The family will receive friends Saturday, January 19, from 1-2pm at Langeland Family Funeral Homes, Westside Chapel, 3926 S. 9th Street, Kalamazoo, MI 49009, where a memorial service will follow at 2:00pm.
