Winifred Hybels

HYBELS, Winifred
Of Kalamazoo Passed away Monday afternoon, December 24, 2007. Winifred was born in Otsego the daughter of Steven and Anna Nykamp Walters. She was a member of Third Christian Reformed Church and a longtime volunteer with the American Red Cross at Bronson Hospital. Winifred also enjoyed spending time with her family and doing volunteer work with various other organizations. On May 29, 1941 she was united in marriage to Harry Hybels who preceded her on February 16, 1992. She was also preceded in death by 3 sisters and 2 brothers. Surviving are 3 children, Patricia Rev. William Fennema, David Vickie Hybels, Mary James Mouw, 3 grandchildren, Tracee Ron VanderKlok, Jon Chelsea Hybels, Elisabeth Mouw; 2 great-grandchildren, Madison and Matthew; a sister, Lucille VanderWall; and several nieces and nephews. A memorial service will be held 1:00 o?clock Friday at the Fourth Reformed Church, 6339 Atlantic Dr. with Rev. William Fennema officiating. Friends may meet the family Thursday from 3-5 and 6-8pm at the Langeland Family Funeral Homes, Westside Chapel, 3926 South 9th Street. Private family interment will be at Mt. Ever-Rest Cemetery.
