JOHNSON, Mr. Wallace "Pat"
Kalamazoo, MI Born March 17th 1941 in Circleville, UT, lost his 18 month valiant battle with Malignant Melanoma on Nov. 21, 2009 and went to meet his Savior. Pat was a member of the Third Reformed Church. He had always worked in the computer area. His passion was road running and had participated in many 5K's, 10K's and marathons. He had fulfilled a dream in running and finishing the Boston Marathon twice. He enjoyed being a Big Brother, photography, reading and gardening. He is survived by his wife Judith, of 26 years. He is also survived by his parents, James Wallace and
Adalia Johnson of Pleasant Grove, UT; his brothers Mike, Mark, Russell, Craig and sister Candyce, all of Utah; a daughter Patrisha Lynne and her 4 children, Eliezer, Ruth, May and Ira of Minneapolis, stepchildren Coleen Levdan Michaelof Grand Rapids, James Dracy of North Carolina, Brigene Kelly-Rick Jim Rick and son Travis Rick of Bloomingdale, John Kelly Marva and daughters Rachel and Lauren of Gobles. Services and burial will be held in Pat's home town of Pleasant Grove, UT. Contributions may be made to Kalamazoo Area Runners Club KAR, Big Brothers, or Hospice.
