Vivian Jenney

JENNEY, VIVIAN
of Kalamazoo Passed away Wednesday, November 23, 2011 at Kairos Dwelling, Kalamazoo. Vivian was born October 26, 1929 in Kalamazoo, the daughter of the late Harry A. Eckler and Marie P. Eckler. Vivian is also survived by her children, Ronald Lee Jenney of Kalamazoo, MI, Dr. Wendy Jenney James of Dallas, TX and Linda Marie Jenney of Littleton, CO.; five grandchildren; Christopher Jenney, Stephen Jenney, Daniel Ryder, Elizabeth Ryder and Benjamin Ryder, a niece, Leatha Linders and nephews, William Kline, Charles Eckler, William Eckler and Raymond Eckler. Vivian was preceded in death by her three brothers Dale Eckler, Charles Eckler, Dwayne Eckler and one sister, Gladys Kline. She was a member of Parchment Methodist Church, where all her children were baptized and she taught Sunday school for many years. She was a Librarian employed by Kalamazoo Public Schools. Vivian's joy was raising her three children. She was involved in Scouting for her children, and was a volunteer for handicapped children. Vivian was a wonderful mother and friend to many. A graveside memorial service will take place 10:00 a.m. on Friday, December 2, 2011 at the Oakridge Cemetery, 323 W. Michigan Ave., Marshall, MI.
