Virginia Priest

PRIEST, Virginia
of Kalamazoo Passed away October 11, 2011 at Bronson Hospital. Virginia was born July 31, 1928 in Kalamazoo, a daughter of William and Thana Bixler Bradac and was a lifelong resident here. Virginia was married in 1948 to Donald Priest, Sr. who preceded her in death in 2007. She was also preceded in death by her parents, a son Donald Priest, Jr. in 1987 and by a daughter-in-law Caroline Priest. Surviving are a daughter Susan David Steeby of Hastings; 3 grandchildren, Rebecca John Eros of Berkeley, CA, Daniel Edith Steeby of Switzerland and Vivian Priest of Kalamazoo; 5 great-grandchildren; 2 sisters, Dorothy Rogers and Dolores Tazelaar, both of Kalamazoo; several nieces and nephews. Services will be held at 1:00 pm on Saturday, October 15 at the Langeland Family Funeral Homes, Memorial Chapel, 622 S. Burdick St. Friends may meet the family on Friday from 2-4 & 6-8 pm at the funeral home. Interment in Mt. Ever-Rest Cemetery. Memorial contributions in Virginia's memory may be made to the American Heart Association or Pennock Hospice checks to Pennock Foundation.
