Susie Molitor

MOLITOR, Susie
Kalamazoo, Michigan Susie went home to be with her Lord on Friday, August 22, 2008. She was born March 6, 1916, in Kalamazoo, the daughter of Arend and Elizabeth VandenBerg DeYoung and has been a lifelong area resident. She was also a lifelong member of Fourth Reformed Church and had devoted her life to her family. On March 4, 1949, she was united in marriage to John Molitor who preceded her in death on September 1, 1979. Susie was preceded in death by her parents and all of her siblings, Edgar DeYoung, Grace VanderRoest, Tina Esman, Nellie Homan and Martha Bouma. Surviving are two sons, Philip Paula Molitor of Delton and Robert Brenda Molitor of Gobles; grandchildren, Charity Jason Hicks, Jay Kim Molitor, Scott Molitor Roxanne Ryan and Aaron Molitor; great-grandchildren, Jacob and Jeremy Hicks and Doug Sharpsteen; and several nieces and nephews. The family will receive friends on Monday from 10-11AM at the Langeland Family Funeral Homes, Memorial Chapel, 622 S. Burdick Street where funeral services will be held beginning 11:00AM Monday with Rev. Jeff Worden officiating. Interment will follow in Mt. Ever-Rest Memorial Park.
