BROCKWAY, Shirley Ann
of Portage, Michigan
Passed away Wednesday morning, February 27, 2013 at the Rose Arbor Hospice Residence. Shirley was born August 19, 1935 in Dexter, MO the daughter of William and Zola (Liles) Maze. Shirley enjoyed spending time with her family and bowling. On December 1, 1956 she was united in marriage to her loving husband, Alvin Brockway, who survives. Also surviving are her children, Bruce Brockway, Julie (Dennis) Cutler, Brian (Paula) Brockway, Jeffery (Chris) Brockway; 7 grandchildren, Jessica, Curtis, Whitney, Shannon, Casey, Stephanie, and Alexander; 3 brothers, William Maze, Robert Maze, Walter (Jackie) Maze; and several nieces and nephews. Shirley was preceded in death by 2 sisters, Doris and Lena. A service to celebrate Shirley's life will be held at 11:00 am Tuesday at the Langeland Family Funeral Homes, Portage Chapel, 411 E. Centre. Interment will follow in Mt. Ever-Rest Cemetery. Friends may meet the family Tuesday from 10:00 until the time of service. Memorials may be directed to Hospice Care of Southwest Michigan.
