LANGERVELD, Ruth
Of Kalamazoo and Gull Lake, MI Went home to be with her Lord on Monday, December 1, 2008. Ruth was born September 11, 1921, in Kalamazoo, the daughter of the late Henry and Grace VandenBerge VanderWall and has been a lifelong area resident. For over 40 years she was employed as a beautician and hairdresser. She and her sister owned the Ruth and Marge Beauty Shop in Kalamazoo. She was a member of Third Christian Reformed Church and affiliated with Richland Presbyterian Church. On July 15, 1943, in Richland, she was united in marriage to Richard Langerveld who preceded her in death on July 21, 2005. She was also preceded by siblings, Peter and William VanderWall and Margaret Langerveld. Surviving are several nieces and nephews. Graveside Services will be held 1:00 PM Monday, December 8 at the Richland Prairie Home Cemetery. A Memorial Service will be held at a time and date to be announced later.
