Kalamazoo, MI Passed away at his home on Saturday, March 21, 2015. Age 75. Ronald was born in Petoskey, MI on May 2, 1939, the son of George Knapp and Nellie Rostron Snyder. He was employed as a machine operator for Unifab Corporation, where he retired. He enjoyed hunting, fishing, gardening and woodworking. Ronald was married to Phyllis Miller Knapp; she preceded him in death. He is survived by his daughter, Rhonda Knapp; siblings, Shirley Morris, William Rosemary Knapp, Christine Frank Hill, Mary Knapp and Colleen Billy Snyder; one sister-in-law, Regina Bob Lincoln; and many nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his brother, George Knapp Jr.; and his identical twin brother, Reginald Walter Knapp. Friends may visit with the family from 12 -1 p.m. on Wednesday, March 25, 2015 at the Langeland Family Funeral Homes, Memorial Chapel, 622 S. Burdick St., Kalamazoo, MI 49007. The funeral service will follow the visitation at 1 p.m. Rev. James Dyke will officiate with interment in West Cooper Cemetery. Memorial contributions may be given to the American Diabetes Association.
