Otsego, MI Bob, age 65, passed away Friday afternoon, October 25, 2013 at Wings Home in Allegan. He was born on April 23, 1948 in Philadelphia, PA, the son of Alfred and Lillian Smith DiFrancesco. On March 22, 2013, Bob was united in marriage to Gail Hilbert Esman. He attended Agape Christian Church with Gail. They enjoyed walking together, going to the movies and the beach. He was a music lover and liked swimming. Bob is survived by his wife, Gail DiFrancesco of Otsego; daughter, Alison DiFrancesco of Houston, TX; step-children, Paul Melanie Esman of Parchment, MI and Heather Bryan Lloyd of Niles, MI; step-grandchildren, Apple, Kaya, Silas, Cullen, Austin, Jillian and Nicholas; father, Alfred DiFrancesco; brother, Alfred DiFrancesco, Jr.; and nieces and nephews. Preceding Bob in death was his mother, Lillian DiFrancesco on January 3, 2013. Bob's family will greet friends from 6-8 pm on Monday at the Langeland Family Funeral Homes, Westside Chapel, 3926 S. 9th St., where the funeral service will be held on Tuesday at 1:00 PM. Pastor Ron Vestrand will officiate. A private interment will be in West Oshtemo Cemetery. Memorials in Bob's name may be directed to Wings of Hope Hospice or Wings Home.
