STEPHAYN, Paul
of Kalamazoo, Michigan On Wednesday, November 12, 2014, our beloved son, husband, father, grandfather and brother, passed away in Kalamazoo. Paul was born May 2, 1956, in Three Rivers, MI, the son of John and Barbara Swartz Stephayn and was a resident of the Kalamazoo area for many years. He worked for Welch Foods in Lawton for 36 years and was a devoted Detroit sports fan. On June 15, 1985, he married the love of his life, Lori Leversee, who survives. Paul is also survived by his loving daughter, Lesli Joe Miller of Kalamazoo; his adored grandsons, Ethan and Asher; his devoted mother, Barbara Stephayn of Marcellus; a special sister, Judy Jerry Brown of Marcellus; nephews, Ben and Brandon Leversee; several nieces and nephews; several sisters-in-law and brothers-in-law; and many friends. He was preceded in death by his father. Paul always did whatever he could to provide for his family and he will be greatly missed by all. A visitation is planned for Friday, November 14, 2014 from 2-4 and 6-8 PM at the Langeland Family Funeral Homes, Portage Chapel, 411 E. Centre Ave., where a funeral service will follow on Saturday at 11:00 AM, with Pastor Roy Ackermann, officiating.
