MOLENAAR, Patricia "Pat"
Of Kalamazoo, Michigan Pat was born June 16, 1949, in Kalamazoo, the oldest daughter of John and Josephine Bonselaar Razenberg. After being ill for four years, she moved briefly to Rose Arbor Hospice where she died peacefully to be with her Lord on August 9, 2010. Pat worked for many years at The Upjohn Company, and later after becoming a nurse worked at Bronson Methodist Hospital and Park Village Pines. She was a charter member of Heritage Christian Reformed Church. The most important part of her life was her family and spending time with them. On March 6, 1970, she was united in marriage to Thomas Molenaar, who survives. Also surviving are their three children, Amy Triezenberg of Kalamazoo, Jeffrey Christine Molenaar of Marshall, MN and Rebecca Keith DeVisser of Bloomingdale; five grandchildren who she loved and adored, Rachel, Brittany, Alexis, Evan and Katelyn; her parents, John and Josephine Razenberg of Kalamazoo; her sister, Sandra James Laning of Memphis, TN; nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles and cousins. The family will receive friends on Thursday, August 12 from 2-4 and 6-8 PM at the Langeland Family Funeral Homes, Westside Chapel, 3926 South 9th Street. A service will be held 11:00 AM Friday, August 13 at Heritage Christian Reformed Church 2857 South 11th Street with Pastor Simon Tuin officiating. Following a luncheon at the church, burial will take place in Mt. Ever-Rest Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, memorials in Pat's memory may be directed to Heritage Christian Reformed Church or Hospice Care of SW Michigan.
