Nella Randi

RANDI, Nella Kalamazoo Passed away Friday, March 9, 2007. She was born November 6, 1913 in Pola, Italy the daughter of Fortunato and Elisabetta De Peder Manzin, and married Ersilio Randi on November 3, 1935. Nella and her family came to the United States in 1955 and settled in Chicago, where she worked for the Hart, Schaffner and Marx Clothing Company for 20 years. She came to Kalamazoo in 1995, and was a member of St. Joseph Catholic Church. Her husband preceded her in death on February 5, 1989. She was also preceded by her parents; and by an infant son, Antonio Randi in 1936. She is survived by her children, Jane Robert Heinrikson of Plainwell; George Barbara Randi of Chicago; and Adrienne Robert Krugler of Chicago; 5 grandchildren; 7 great grandchildren. The family will receive friends at the Langeland Family Funeral Homes, Westside Chapel, 3926 S. 9th Street on Saturday from 2-5 PM. Interment will take place on Monday at 1:00 PM Chicago time in the Mount Carmel Cemetery, Chicago. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be directed to Directors Hall or St. Joseph Catholic Church.
