TAYLOR, Michael "Batman"
of Kalamazoo Died Monday, July 19, 2010 at home. He was born December 4, 1949 in Kalamazoo, to the late Oscar and Irene Swinney Taylor. Mike was a graduate of Schoolcraft High school. He is survived by his wife, Gwen Kelley and their children, Michelle Furr and Devin Taylor, both of Kalamazoo. He was a proud grandfather to Natalie Furr. He enjoyed reading, movies and tinkering in his garage. He was also preceded in death by a sister, Betty Taylor. Also surviving is a sister, Peggy Ketchum, nieces and nephews; and his close, childhood friend, Larry French. Family will greet friends on Wednesday from 6-8:00 o'clock at the Langeland Family Funeral Homes, Westside Chapel, 3926 S. 9th St., where services will take place Thursday, 11:00 o'clock.
