GERLOFS, Maybelle
Of Kalamazoo Maybelle Gerlofs was born November 23, 1929, in Grand Rapids, MI the daughter of George and Pearl Adams and went to be with her Lord on May 5, 2011 in Kalamazoo. May graduated from Portage Central High School in 1948 and worked at the American National Bank after High School. On October 13, 1954 she was united in marriage to Clarence Gerlofs who survives. She is also survived by a daughter Kim Dan Scheffers; 3 grandchildren, Kelli Steve Herder, Michelle Scheffers, and Jason Scheffers; and a sister, Jacqueline Adams. She loved to spend time with her grandchildren and volunteered many, many hours at the Kalamazoo Christian Schools where they attended school. She was a member of Centerpoint Church where she was a member of The Seniors. The family will receive friends on Sunday from 3-5pm at the Langeland Family Funeral Homes, Westside Chapel, 3926 South 9th Street, Kalamazoo. The funeral service will be held at 10:30am Monday, May 9 at the Centerpoint Church, 2345 N. 10th Street, with Pastor Dar VanderWal officiating. Private interment will be in Ft.
