MC MILLON, Maureen Saginaw, MI Formerly of Kalamazoo Our, beloved daughter, sister, aunt and niece went home to be with Lord suddenly on March 7, 2007. Maureen McMillon was born on August 24, 1962 in Kalamazoo, MI, to the union of Charles Allen and Emmerline Armstrong McMillon. Maureen accepted Christ at an early age at Mt Zion Baptist Church of Kalamazoo, MI under the leadership of the late Rev. A.B. Roberson. Maureen was a graduate of Loy Norrix High School of Kalamazoo, MI in 1981. After moving to Saginaw, Michigan in 1982, she joined Mt. Zion Missionary Baptist Church of Burt, MI, under the leadership of Rev. Willie McMillon Sr. there she served on the Nurses Guild and was a part of the Vacation Bible School. She was a student at Davenport University where she received an Associate of Applied Science, and was working on her Bachelor's degree until her death. In 2006, She became a certified mentor for the Family Youth Initiative FYI through Delta College. Maureen was a good natured and quiet person who loved caring for the elderly. She loved taking care of children and dearly loved her family. She will be missed by all. She leaves to cherish her loving memories her father; Charles Allen Sandy of Kalamazoo, MI; siblings, her twin Sister; Maxine Roberts of Snellville, GA; Charles Allen McMillon Jr., Haywood McMillon Debra of Kalamazoo, MI; Joel McMillon Patricia of Tucson, AZ; Christine Babbitt Johnny of Kalamazoo, MI; Velma Wilkes of Saginaw, MI; Jason McMillon Dana of Orangeville, MI; and Steven McMillon of Kalamazoo, MI; four Godchildren; Jovon McMillon, Courtney Kirnon and Armand Burks all of Saginaw, MI; Artae'sha Ashonique of Kalamazoo, MI; and a host of aunts, uncles, nephews, nieces, cousins and friends. Two special friends: Franklin Foster of Saginaw, MI, and Glenda White of Battle Creek, MI. She was preceded in death by her mother Emmerline McMillon; two sisters; Emma Quinn and Kathereen McMillon; one nephew; Carl Roberts Jr. Homegoing services will be held at 11:00 o?clock Saturday at the Mt. Zion Missionary Baptist Church, 120 Roberson St. with a family hour beginning at 10:00 am. Pastor Albert Haynes and Pastor Christopher Moore will officiate. Interment in Riverside Cemetery. Friends may meet the family Friday evening from 6-8 pm at the Langeland Family Funeral Homes, Memorial Chapel, 622 S. Burdick St. 343-1508
