MaryLou Retherford

RETHERFORD, MaryLou Kalamazoo, MI 93, of Kalamazoo, passed away peacefully Sunday July 26, 2015 in her home surrounded by family. MaryLou was born on January 15, 1922 in Moulton, AL. She is survived by her daughter, Shirley Collins; grandchildren: Tim Vargo, Vicky Vargo, and Mike Collins; great-grandchildren: Jenifer (Marc) Crago, Kristy (Victor)Newman, Kim (Jake) Bower, Danielle Kuhtic, Tiffany Vargo, Travis Vargo, Bradley Curtis, and great-great-grandchildren: Austin Hammond, Taylor Schuesler, Harper Newman, Scarlet Newman, and Ella Bower. MaryLou is preceded in death by her parents, Myrtle and Atlow Bradford, brother, Edward Bradford, and sisters, Erlene Bradford, Jearldeen LouAllen, and Adele Kelly. The family welcomes friends to join them for a service officiated by Pastor Richard Collins on Thursday, July 30th at 10 o'clock at the Langeland Family Funeral Home, Memorial Chapel, 622 S. Burdick St. Visitation will be 6-8pm Wednesday at the chapel. Interment will be in East Cooper Cemetery.
