Of Kalamazoo, MI Passed peacefully from this life on March 8, 2010 at Park Place Assisted Living Center with her family by her side. Marie was born in Kalamazoo on October 16, 1916 to Henry and Marie Huizing Mulder. She remained a lifelong resident of Kalamazoo. Prior to her retirement she was employed for nearly 50 years at KVP Sutherland Paper Company James River Corporation as was her husband. Marie was an accomplished seamstress and showed her love to all of her family members by giving handmade clothing to them year around and always something special at Christmas. She was an avid gardener and an immaculate housekeeper. She was also loved and appreciated by her family for her skills at cooking and pie making. Marie was preceded in death by her husband Lowell Jensen, in 2004; her parents; a sister, Martha Hawthorne; a brother, Henry Mulder; and a brother-in-law, Francis F. Wikel, Sr. Surviving are a sister, Esther May Wikel of Kalamazoo; nieces and nephews, Francis F. Wikel Jr. Butch, Dawn Marie Wikel, Robin E. Millar, Kim W. Wikel and Melanie A. Allen; and several great-nieces and great-nephews. Private services were held at the Langeland Family Funeral Homes, Memorial Chapel, 622 S. Burdick St. 343-1508 followed by private burial at Mt.
