DUNN, LUCILLE
of Plainwell, Michigan Lucille Dunn, age 89, of Plainwell, went home to be with her Lord on February 6, 2013 in Kalamazoo. Lucille was born December 1, 1923 in Kalamazoo, the daughter of Rudolph and Mable Erickson Smith and was an area resident most of her life. She had attended Centerpoint Church. On August 22, 1942, she was united in marriage to Joseph F. Dunn, who preceded her in death on November 25, 1989. She was also preceded in death by her parents; her son, Joe Rudy Dunn; by siblings, Arlene Crippen, Gertrude Seymour and William Erickson. Surviving are her two sons, Barry Phyllis Dunn of Portage and Gary Linda Dunn of Plainwell; four grandchildren, Scott Nicolette Dunn, Jeff Andrea Dunn, Laura Kevin Slater and Jacob Dunn; two great-grandchildren, Caitlin Dunn and Eric Slater; sister, Marion Reed; several nieces and nephews. The family will receive friends on Monday from 11:00 am - 12:30 pm at Centerpoint Church 2345 North 10th St where a funeral service will be held at 12:30 pm Monday with Rev. Dar VanderWal officiating. A private family interment will be in Mt. Ever-Rest Memorial Park South. Memorials in Lucille's memory may be directed to Juvenile Diabetes.
