WILLIAMS, Louise
of Kalamazoo, Michigan Passed away Monday evening, April 28, 2014. Louise was born February 10, 1921 in Moulton, AL, the daughter of Lee Roy and Alice McMillan Black. She worked for several years with Kalamazoo Laundry as a seamstress until her retirement. Louise enjoyed quilting, sewing, cooking, and gardening. She was known for making clothing for herself and anyone else that would let her. On November 1, 1939 she was united in marriage to her husband Talmadge, who preceded her in death on March 16, 1995. She was also preceded in death by 2 sons, Travis and Waymon Williams; and a grandson, Roger Williams. She is survived by her son, Bob Williams; daughter-in-law, Barbara Wisser; 3 grandchildren, Debbie Thomasma, Vicky George Oberthaler, Brian Williams; 9 great-grandchildren; a brother, Ervin Black; and several nieces and nephews. Services will be held at 2:30pm Friday at the Langeland Family Funeral Homes, Memorial Chapel, 622 S. Burdick with Pastor Jim Dyke officiating. Interment will follow in Mt. Ever-Rest North Cemetery. Friends my meet the family one hour prior to the service.
