Of Kalamazoo Linda passed away Friday, April 6, 2012 at Borgess Medical Center. She was born April 3, 1942 in Kalamazoo, the daughter of the late Frank and Winifred Saye Campbell. On July 21, 1961, was united in marriage to Charles L. Rhodes, who survives. Also surviving are their two children, Mark Elizabeth Rhodes and Lisa Miller both of Richland; five grandchildren, Emily and Cody Rhodes and Carson, Keagan and Maddie Miller; four sisters, Shirley Emaar, Jean Roger Herwick, Judy Owen Vickers, and Susan David Borkowski; two brothers, Fred Peg Campbell and Jack Karen Campbell; two sisters-in-law, Shelia Campbell and Melva Campbell. Preceding her in death were her parents; two brothers, Bob and Roger Campbell; and sister, Mary Wilson. Friends may visit with the family at 1:00 PM on Wednesday at Langeland Family Funeral Homes, Comstock Chapel, 6121 King Highway followed by a funeral service at 2:00 PM with Rev. Dr. Mark W. Jennings officiating. Private interment will be in East Cooper Cemetery. Memorial contributions may be directed to American Heart Association.
