Linda Norton

NORTON, Linda Schoolcraft On Saturday morning, December 30, 2006, Linda was called home to be with her Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ. She was born December 8, 1938 in Kalamazoo, the daughter of Emery V. and Margaret Hill Jackson and had been a resident of Schoolcraft for many years. Linda was a loving wife, mother and grandmother, and was a member of the First Assembly of God of Kalamazoo. On August 24, 1957, she married her best friend and soul mate, Jerry Norton, who survives. Also surviving are their children, Kim Scott Weurding of Conklin, MI, Ken Bonnie Norton of Schoolcraft and Kathy Chris Fulkerson of Myakka City, FL; 13 grandchildren; a brother, Tom Jan Jackson of Portage; one nephew and three nieces. Funeral services will be conducted at 1:00 PM Wednesday in the Langeland Family Funeral Homes, Westside Chapel, 3926 S. 9th Street with their pastor, Rev. Phillip McElhenny officiating. Interment will follow at Mt. Ever-Rest Memorial Park. The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Tuesday from 2-4 and 6-8 PM. Memorial contributions may be directed to the First Assembly of God.
