LeRoy, Leonard Leonard J. LeRoy passed away at home on August 3, 2015. Leonard was born July 1, 1948 in Kalamazoo the son of the late Isaac and Clarice (Loveland) LeRoy. He was a lifelong resident of Kalamazoo, a Vietnam Army veteran with the 173rd Airborne Division, a recipient of the bronze star, and a retiree from General Motors. He was preceded in death by his wife Delta "Deb" LeRoy and his brother, David LeRoy. He is survived by his son and daughter in law, John and Jody LeRoy; his grandson, John LeRoy; brothers and sisters, Al (Mary) LeRoy, Art (Pat) LeRoy, Sue (Bill) Weinberg, Ann (Bob) Bommersbach, Lynda (Tim) Squires, and Rick (Phyllis) LeRoy; numerous nieces and nephews. Visitation will be from 2-4 and 6-8PM on Sunday, August 9th at the Langeland Family Funeral Homes, Memorial Chapel, 622 S. Burdick Street, where a service to celebrate Leonard's life will be held at 1:00 PM Monday, August 10th with Pastor John Hill officiating. Interment with military honors will follow in Ft. Custer National Cemetery. Memorials in Leonard's memory may be directed to the Wounded Warrior Project.
