BRUNE, Mrs. Julia "Judy" E.
Kalamazoo, MI Went home to be with the Lord Friday evening November 27, 2009. Judy was born December 30, 1911 in Kalamazoo, Michigan a daughter of Benjamin and Grace Ryskamp VanDyke. She had been a lifelong Kalamazoo area resident and was a longtime member of the Westwood Church of God. Judy was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Elmer J. Brune on January 21, 2003; a son, Keith Brune; and 7 brothers and sisters. She is survived by a daughter, Kathleen Phee of Mattawan; 2 granddaughters, Melissa and Megan; a sister-in-law, Norma VanDyke of Kalamazoo; and several nieces and nephews. Private graveside services will be held in Riverside Cemetery. There will be no visitation. Memorials may be directed to the Westwood Church of God. Arrangements were made by the Langeland Family Funeral Homes, Memorial Chapel, 622 S. Burdick St. www.langelands.com . 343-1508.
