JULIAN, Juanita
of Kalamazoo, Michigan Passed away peacefully Thursday afternoon, July 25, 2013 with her two daughters by her side. Juanita was born May 23, 1926 in West Carrollton, Ohio the daughter of Bryan and Elizabeth Pieratt Hogg. On January 14, 1947 she was united in marriage to her loving husband, Thurman Julian who survives. Also surviving are 3 children, Marilyn Julian, Sharon Emil Szatkowski, David Robin Julian; 7 grandchildren, Norman, David, Doug, Lisa, Eric, Elizabeth, and Zachary; 5 great-grandchildren; a brother, Lenox Hogg; and many nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by a daughter, Linda Julian; 3 brothers, Elmer, Elwood, Elbert; and a sister, Lucille. Services will be held at 1:00 pm Monday at the Langeland Family Funeral Homes, Portage Chapel, 411 E. Centre with Rev. Jim Dyke officiating. Friends may meet the family Monday from 12-1 prior to the service. Interment will follow in Mt. Ever-Rest Cemetery. Memorials may be directed to the Salvation Army.
