Joyce Ann (Dewey) Passage was born in Kalamazoo, MI July 23, 1927 to Robert H. Dewey and Fern (Sanford) Dewey. Joyce peacefully took her last breath Saturday, July 25, 2015 at Bronson Hospital with family by her side to talk with her, Joyce was an Interior Designer and worked several years at the Vogue Shop. After they closed, Joyce owned her own business (Interior Workshop) for over 50 years. Joyce was a perfectionist and worked independently. She consulted and did her own sewing (mostly by hand). She had a great eye for colors and hues-very talented. She made homes beautiful for numerous prominent clients. At one time she and her husband Ray raised sheep. They later acquired a farm near Barton Lake where they raised swine. She left there after Ray died in 1971. She was preceded in death by her husband, Ray W. VanDulst and sister-in-law, Barbara E. Dewey. Surviving are a brother, Dr. Robert S. Dewey of California; nephews, James Dewey of New Jersey and David Dewey of California; nieces, Janet Grausam and Linda Rackauckas both of California; and close cousins Don and Gerry Sherburne of Kalamazoo. In accordance with Joyce's wishes, no services will be held. Private burial will be made in Mt.
