Formerly of Portage Kryger, John , 82, died July 31, 2008 at Chippenham Hospital in Richmond, VA. Survivors include his wife, Barbara Dunkley Kryger; 2 children, Arnold Deb Kryger, Barbara Ann Kryger and their mother Francine Kryger; granddaughters, Andrea and Stephanie. John was born in Rotterdam, The Netherlands on October 18, 1925, and immigrated to the U.S. in 1957. He owned and operated International Travel Consultants in Kalamazoo, MI., from 1970 until 1999. His remains rest at Langeland Family Funeral Homes, Memorial Chapel, 622 South Burdick Street in Kalamazoo, Mi., where family will receive friends Sunday, August 3 from 2 to 4 p.m. A graveside service will be held 11:00AM Monday at Mount Ever-Rest Cemetery. Memorial service times to be announced at a later date. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to charity of your choice.
