Jerry Krizan

KRIZAN, Jerry Jerry passed away Friday, November 14, 2014 in Kalamazoo. He was born February 21, 1945 in Detroit, the son of Jerry and Louise Marie Fucik Krizan and was a Kalamazoo resident for many years. Jerry spent 30 years as an accountant, working for Ronningen Research and Doubleday Brothers. Jerry was a member of St. Monica Catholic Church, National Association of Accountants, the DAV and the VFW. He enjoyed gardening, reading and being a Mr. Fixit. He served his country in the United States Army during the Viet Nam War. Jerry is survived by his wife, Suzanne Krizan of Kalamazoo; a daughter, Dr. Mary Krizan of WI; two brothers, James Robert Margaret Krizan of Allen Park, MI and John Richard Lisa Krizan of Charlotte, NC.; sister-in-law and brother-in-law, Mary and Joseph Moyer of Hershey, PA and a brother-in-law, Michael Katsonis of W. Wendover, NV. Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 11:00 AM , Tuesday, November 18, 2014 in St. Monica Catholic Church, 534 W. Kilgore Rd., with Rev. Fr. Larry Farrell, Celebrant. Interment will follow in Mt. Ever-Rest Cemetery, South. A visitation is scheduled for Monday, November 17, from 2-4 and 6-8 PM at the Langeland Family Funeral Homes, Memorial Chapel, 622 S. Burdick St. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be given to Hospice Care of Southwest Michigan or St. Monica Catholic Church.
