Jeri Richards

RICHARDS, Jeri Of Portage, MI Went to be with her Heavenly Father on November 14, 2009 at Bronson Hospital. Jeri was born March 31, 1942 in Libby, MT, a daughter of David and Margaret Drew Burris and had lived most of her life in the Kalamazoo/Portage area. Her most important enjoyments in life were her family, Thursday night Bible Study and spending her days helping care for the children at her daughters day care. She is survived by her former husband and the father of their children, Dale Allen Richards of Vicksburg and 5 children, Teresa Crawley of Portage, Dale Allen II and Kim Richards of Kalamazoo, Kim Bolhuis and Bill Fowler of Portage, Jesse David and Chris Richards of Comstock and Anthony Michael and Tonia Killeen of Parchment; also surviving are Steve Bolhuis of Kalamazoo and Brandy Richards of Kalamazoo; 20 grandchildren, Staci and fiancé David Hofer, Chase, Sarah, Derek, Bryon, Kylie, Brooke, Shelby, Dale III, Zachary, Jasen and Brandy Keys, Chelsea, Danielle "Dani", Jesse II, Jordon, Ashley, Christopher, Tyler, Rylee and Makeena; 8 great-grandchildren, Kaylie, Robert "Bubby", Kyaine, Kassidee, Nariah, Taytum, Jaden and Adler Rey coming soon; a brother Gary Lee and Loretta Burris of Sierra Vista, AZ and a sister Leilani Janet Keller of Utah; nieces and nephews. Private family services will be held at the Langeland Family Funeral Homes, Memorial Chapel, 622 S. Burdick St. Memorial contributions in memory of Jeri may be made to the Kalamazoo Gospel Mission or the American Red Cross.
